M&H opens up its measurement technology to external customers: precision as a service

M&H CNC Technik is opening a new chapter in its quality initiative: with immediate effect, external companies can also access the full range of our high-end measurement technology. Whether for initial sampling, incoming goods inspection, reverse engineering or CAD comparison – we offer our technology and expertise as a service.

“Our customers benefit from exactly the same level of precision that we use to inspect parts for the aerospace and motorsport industries,” explains Managing Director Patrick Herzig. “Demand for reliable, documented quality is on the rise – and we deliver it.”

The equipment used includes, amongst other things:
• a RENISHAW 5-axis tactile co-ordinate measuring machine with a REVO-2 head and an accuracy of up to 1.5 µm
• a Nikon H120 3D laser scanner for non-contact measurements with visual colour comparison
• measurement reports compliant with standards, including digital CAD comparison

Particularly in demand: the reverse engineering of historical or undocumented components, as is often required in classic car restoration or plant engineering.

“We take precision a step further – from manufacturing to visualisation. If you understand a problem thoroughly, you can solve it thoroughly,” says Herzig.

In addition, we also offer laser engraving for permanent component marking – for example, for serial numbers.
